6 Content Ideas for Save-Worthy Posts

You asked, we answered. One of the most frequent problems we hear is, “I just don’t know what to post!” We call it posting paralysis. You sit down to create a post or even draft a messaging calendar (10 points to those of you batch creating!) and then… NOTHING! You don’t know which picture to use or if you do, you have no idea how to caption it. So, you freeze, post nothing and your community is left wanting more and missing that special sauce that only you can make!

Today, we are going to give you the keys to the kingdom to creating scroll-stopping, smile-inducing, save-worthy content your community will love!

1) Infotainment
Facts tell, stories sell. When providing stats or information, serve it up with a story your followers can dive into. Set the scene and give real life examples both in imagery and copy!

2) It’s ok to be funny – if you are funny!
We all love a good meme or joke on social media, and these days something to lighten and brighten the mood is more than welcome. But be sure your humor is aligned with your brand and community so it truly does lift spirits and elicit a smile!

3) Fill a need, Solve a Problem, Answer a Question!
Be the solution! You want people to hit the save and share features on your content. Give them the tools, tips, templates and ideas they need to solve their pain points, make their life easier and/or more enjoyable!

4) Get personal!
Don’t be afraid to show your true colors. Every picture doesn’t have to be Facetuned and photo shopped. Every story doesn’t have to have the perfect ending. People want to connect with people – real people who they can relate to. Remember the know, like and trust factor. If you don’t let them in to know you and your genuine gifts, passions and purpose, they won’t be able to connect. If they can’t connect, they won’t trust. And if they don’t trust, they don’t buy! So, starting dishing! We want to know YOU!

5) Spotlight others
It’s not all about you, ok! Now I know we just said get personal but sharing the spotlight with those in your industry, team or community goes a long way! Be a connector, a networker, a super fan! Sharing others talents, skills, offerings, hard work and passion shows you care about promoting what matters most. Plus, let’s be real, it’s always easier to talk about someone else rather than yourself.

6) Stunning Imagery
At the end of the day, if you want them to stop the scroll, the image or graphic has to be on point! Makes sure it’s well lit, well framed and good to look at it!

Hopefully, these ideas inspired you to get back on your social media game and deliver content that is valuable, genuine and save-worthy!
